Snow Paint is "snow" much fun!

Want a fun, cheap way to paint with your kids at home?  Snow paint!  You've seen it on Pinterest all over, so we tried it today.  Who better to try something new with?  Kindergarten!  It was "snow" much fun!  Students listened to The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats to tie literacy into our lesson.  We mixed equal parts of shaving cream (not gel) and drippy glue and painted with old paintbrushes.

At another studio, we made snowflakes with ripped aluminum foil.  Great fine motor practice!  Plus they handled the liquid glue beautifully!

We are so happy to get back into the routine and what better way to start the week than with art!
